:) Although this is useful. Thai language usually doesn't translate well into English. I have read many Thai government websites that have english translations and always state that in the event of a dispute or other dicrepancy the Thai language version will be used. I remember once when I lived in Hua Hin and there were some new land use/zoning regulations that came out. A local English newspaper had translated them to English and it was the most bizzare thing I ever read trying to decipher it,

Whilst the Thai language doesn’t translate very well into English making some of this information incorrect or even misleading it will at the very least give you a rough idea where you stand legally in certain circumstances.

A very usefull guide to Thai laws all the same.

this has to be excepted Thai law governs. in Thai language

Since we are talking law we have to be precise (excuse for clever-dick Brit using knowledge of English to put down non-native speaker? :) ).

You mean 'accepted'. In the phrase you use 'Excepted' would be interpreted by a lawyer to mean the opposite of accepted.

Yes its a good site. I printed off the traffic laws a while back to keep handy in the car. Not for arguing with the police but its is useful to see that the fines are listed with the offences.
