Microsoft Office 2007

Featured Replies

Hi

I recently bought a new PC and downloaded MS Office 2007 trial version. This version allows you to open Outlook 25 times. Well, with installing all the MS updates together with new software I decided to purchase Office 2007 online today.

I went to the MS download page and purchased the software and received the confirmation email together with a product key.

I restarted Outlook and it prompted for the product key which I pasted from their email. It came back as an invalid key!?

I now have 7 further attempts at opening Outlook before that expires. I tried contacting MS support but no answer.

Any ideas? Can't think of anything I've done wrong.

Cheers

Mick

EDIT: Oh <deleted>, ignore all that. I just wasted 3,500 baht. The version I bought doesn't have Outlook. Stupid.

I take it you bought the Home/Student edition... 3,500 baht is quite a bit of money. Might as well call MS customer support and explain to them what happened, maybe they can do something for you.

you should have downloaded MS Office 2010-beta. Either the online version or the full download, nearly one GB. Very smooth so far with lots of improvement and can be used until it goes public.

I also have home/student version 2007 and can use limited features with outlook.
