Apartment Requires Asok Area 2 Bed 100+ M2

Featured Replies

I am looking for a new apartment in the Asok area close to the BTS/MRT intersection

I've found one on Sukhumvit Soi 23 just down the road from where I am at the moment which costs 32,000 Bt per month for what is approximately 120 square meters. It has two large bedrooms and a very large living room, it's exactly what I'm looking for.

I just want to check if that sounds like a reasonable price, they wanted 35,000 and would go no lower than 32,000 per month.

So is that a reaonable price or does anyone else know of another better or similar apartment I could rent in the area for a similar or lower amount of rent ?

I can take over it immediately if needed. I also need to be guaranteed a working phone line and internet connection and cheap electricity.

Any help appreciated.

I posted in the Bangkok forum as I'm looking for somewhere in central Bangkok but mods please feel free to move / link it for me to anywhere more suitable.

120 sq meters? Sounds VERY reasonable for that location. It is cheaper off the beaten path of course but close to the bts and that size? Very good.

I went back and checked it again, it's 170 meters. The original 120m2 was a guess which was well off the mark. It's a huge apartment.

I'm taking it.

!!! Do they have another one same size and price? :)

They told me it was the only one available, this could have been a sales tactic though. It's about 20 storeys high if I remember correctly so maybe they have people leaving all the time.

The building is called 'Le Premier' and it's across the street from The Queen Victoria pub in Soi 23. I know of someone else who lives there and he told me it's a pretty good building to live in and all of the apartments there are the same size.

Sounds like a great deal for 170m2. Is it really run down building/condition? Good views?
