rrac Posted March 6, 2010 Share Posted March 6, 2010 my wife and I have been teaching ESL at universities here in South Korea since the mid 90s (both of us are american) and are looking to get out of the cold weather etc that is teaching in korea and was wondering how we'd go about landing decent paying jobs in thailand. we both have Masters Degrees (hers is in English mine is in Poli Sci/History/Education with a US high school teaching credential) what kind of jobs would we be qualified for and how could we start looking? maybe second semester this year or the 2011 school year to start hope somebody here can point us in the right direction Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your credentials alone should be enough to secure a job with an international school. Just make sure that the school is a TRUE international school, operating in Thailand from the UK or US. The term "international" is used very loosely here. Any private Thai school in operation can tag "international" onto their schools name.
