Re-entry

Featured Replies

Good morning , I paid 1,000 baht for a re-entry permit on the 16th Dec 2009 and travelled to the UK on 29th Jan 2010 , I returned to Bangkok on Friday the 5th of march and yesterday my wife noticed that the stamp in my passport on re-entry is stamped 10 pages apart from re-entry permit and states addmitted until 3rd of April 2010 , I am confused by this because on the same page as my re-entry permit I have an extension of stay until 23rd of August 2010 . What can I do to rectify this situation ? should I go back to the immigration office at the airport ? or can I resolve this at the immigration office in Bangkok ?

Did you put your re-entry stamp number in the visa area of the arrival card? Was the re-entry stamp marked "used" after you arrived?

You appear to have received a normal 30 day visa exempt stamp so a trip to Bangkok immigration should get it resolved.

As we always say. Check your stamp before leaving the Immigration desk.
