Worms In Emails?

Featured Replies

I just got a e-mail from a guy who died six months ago, made the mistake opening. I later received an e-mail for one of his friend saying it had a worm virus, in it what do I have to look forward to?

I did block the e-mail address but I think it's to late

What do I need to do now?

Thanks

I may be wrong but I think just opening an email will not infect your computer. If you click on a link or open an attachment then you are open to infection. If you have anti virus it should have warned you of anything dodgy. Run an indepth scan and see what it picks up.

Agree as far as I'm aware regular e-mails are OK it's the attachments that are the problem. If you have not opened an attachment you should be alright.

You do have an anti virus program running :) If you did download a nasty it should have warned you.

:D
