noahvail
Ok, I know that many of the government's websites have a warning in Google that it may harm your computer. Has anyone gone into a site to determine what, if any, viruses, trojans, or malware are in there? I'm trying to get into the government RID site - Royal Institute Dictionary. I'm using a MacBook Pro running Snow Leopard, if that matters. Thanks, guys
esbkk
The same with The Nation home page - http://www.nationmultimedia.com/home/ using Malwarebytes - Anti-Malware v 1.44.
noahvail
Thanks for that. Malwarebytes looks good, but it's only for windows. Because I'm using a Mac, though, I'm going to demo the Sophos program...nothing to lose on a free trial, $30 for the program.
londonthai
I wouldn't worry, some gadgets on the site might not be standard and causing alarms. if you have protection for your comp you can ignore google warnings
