Pairing Bt Headset To Multiple Devices

Featured Replies

I have a bluetooth headset I can pair between a PC device and a mobile phone device, but each time I have to pair the device to get it working if I have changed devices - say from office using PC to on the road with mobile. Is this how bt is supposed to work? It cannot remember paring the device earlier once the bt headset has paired with another device in mean time?

In the case of my mobile, it stores the name of the BT device in there.

However, if I turn off the BT device, then I have to re-initialize and wait for mobile to find the BT device again.

Once you turn it off, there is no link telling the BT device to turn on unless you manually turn it on.

Most bluetooth devices can only be paired to a single device at a time.

There are some that can be paired to multiple devices but you will have to do your research to find out what models these are beifre you buy
