Could Someone Help Me With This Translation Please?

Featured Replies

I've just received a head wound which although isn't too serious, I want to keep it fresh. I bought a bottle of sterile saline solution from Boots which listed its ingredients in English, however there is a bit above which is only in Thai and I just want to check they aren't listing some other ingredients that I definitely don't wasnt to be spraying on my head :)

If someone could help out, that would be fantastic!post-81346-1268809368_thumb.jpg

There is nothing there more than the English which you can see, I wasn't able to scroll down to any more. The next heading below the English is Instructions.

I always go for Betadine for any cuts.

That is simple saline solution

Thank you very much guys. The Dr said I should get 0.5% solution, but this means this is 0.9 right?

I wonder if it will still be ok (going off topic for sure :))

Shouldn't be too strong but you could PM one of the mods from the medical sub-forum

On the label it says it contains 0.9g NaCl/100cm3 which is a 0.9% solution as you say, and is about twice as concentrated as the doctor specified. Apparently 0.9% is used in normal saline which is used in intravenous drips and is the stuff you seem to have.

Also came across a 0.9% soln for wound cleaning here.
