Thai Language School In Sydney

Featured Replies

G'day All,

I'd like to let everyone know about a Thai Language school in Sydney, I've been a student there for a few years.

The school runs on Sundays, from 10am onwards. Corner of Cleveland St and Chalmers St, Redfern.

The current teacher of the adult classes is very good, she is a lecturer at Macquarie university on translation and also works for SBS translating Thai programs into English.

The advanced class for adults is great as there are only a few students so we really get to ask as many questions as we want and the cost is only $25AUD per school term.

There is also a beginners class for adults starting at 11.30am.

They have language classes for the kids as well and after the language classes there are Thai music and dancing classes.

The school is run as a charity/not for profit, so the classes are very cheap.

Please feel free to contact me if you've got any questions.

Regards,

Herbie.

That is a pretty great offer...unfortunately, I'm just about to move away from Sydney. Just out of interest, what's the teacher's name?

G'day,

The teachers name is Dtong ต้อง.

Just to clear things up, I found out today the term fee is actually $40 for a single student. It's $50 per term for family which is what I pay for myself and my daughter. Good value I think.

We've now got just four students in the morning adult class, duy to an extra guy that showed up today in response to this thread. So if there's anyone else in Sydney who may be interested please fell free to contact me.

Regards,

Herbie
