Where Do You Buy Good Quality Safe For Decent Price?

Featured Replies

Like anything anyone buys, I need a really good quality safe but dont want to pay premium price.

Anyone know a fair priced shop that sell good quality?

Thai made is okay with me unless there is something I should know.

Fire proof is a nice bonus.

Any recommendations of a good seller?

EDIT: Anywhere in bangkok

It is a pity you do not say where you are? Much easier then to help you.

Look for shops selling office furniture, then look at the various models of safe that they have.

Ask your bank for a safe deposit box :)

I bought a safe at JJ Mall, near the second floor escalators leading up to parking.  It is similar to the kind you find in hotel rooms.  It is not bank vault good, but at 4,000 baht, it does the trick.

Seacon Square has a good shop.

They are readily available in most of the Office Depots.

2nd floor at Future shopping mall Robinsons end they have a wide range of safe's all sizes,

From 2,000 baht upwards ,,,,,, colino

I just went down the 'where do I buy a safe road" myself. All of the local made in thailand safes are FIRE SAFES. That means good for fire and for the kids down the street breaking in.

Now good quality covers a big area. In basic a safe rated TL-15(USA) or Eurograde 1(Europe) is the lowest grade for storing anything with much value.

Eurograde 1 safes are rated for 10,000 pounds in cash and 100,000 pounds in Jewelry. The TL15 is about the same. Euro grades go as high as 6.

Anyway it is hrad to find a real safe in Thailand. I ordered a Eurograde 1 with 110 lts capacity with electronic & key locks and it was about 80,000 baht. A smaller safe in maybe the 40 lt capacity size at a lower grade (european grade S2 rated for 4000 pounds cash and 40,000 in valuables) runs about 35,000 Bhat.

Now we are talking imported European safes(import duty is low--they are simular prices in the UK)

TMP safe 081-890-9781 (Rosengren dealer)

Good luck!
