Digital Camera Not Tranferring Videos

Featured Replies

I have a digital Kodak camera which is 1 year old. Now, it transfers pictures onto my notebook but stops when it reaches the videos.

Can anyone help?

It sounds like the software used to transfer the files does not regognise the videos. Can you see them if you connect to your laptop in my computer ?. You can also try updating the software that might help ?

Is the data stored on a SD card? If so then just pop the card in an adapter, plug into your PC and download. Far simpler than buggering about with cables and the manufacturer's software.

The data is on a card which inserts into my notebook. I use no cables.

As said it sounds like the software you are using is simply not seeing the video files. Try updating the software or using another program

Hi,

You shouldn't need to use the camera software at all. Any PC or notebook will show the card as 'removable media' and will treat it as if it were a drive attached directly to your computer. Just locate the files on the card and drag them to a folder on your PC.

Cheers
