I would like to be able to use the camera connected to my computer outdoors or in other parts of the house. Right now I am restricted by the cord, and don't want to use a 20 foot cord or the like. I suspect there might be some kind of wireless setups now, but know nothing about it. I would appreciate any advice on the best way to accomplish what I have in mind. You could get a cheap ip network camera - i've seen these for less than 150US. With that, google and download "Willing Webcam" - it'll relay the cameras images into either a virtual camera driver (for use with skype etc) or stream like to somewhere like ustream.
