i got stopped in a routine police road block yesterday because my wife wasn't wearing her seat belt. while he was checking my license the cop told us about some land he has for sale near black mountain GC. he gave my wife his phone number as asked when we were coming to look at the land! pretty freekin' funny i thought, using traffic stops as a way to flog your land! only in Thailand.

I've heard from a few people that a lady in the immigration office here does the same thing.

that's funny, i write a thread joking about how someone tried an unsolicited land sales pitch on me and someone replies with an unsolicited land sales pitch. guess land is pretty hard to sell over there.
