Three Palestinians were shot dead in a West Bank village following an attack by Israeli settlers and intervention by the Israeli military, the Palestinian Health Ministry reported on Wednesday.

 

The Palestinian mayor stated that more than 100 settlers attacked the village, setting vehicles and houses on fire.

 

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), writing on its Telegram and X channels, reported that "dozens of Israeli civilians set fire to property in al-Mughayyir," which is north-east of Ramallah.

Health Secretary Wes Streeting has said Israel needs to “get your own house in order” and take violence against Palestinians “more seriously”.

 

He said that chants calling for “death” to the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) at Glastonbury were “appalling”.

 

But Mr Streeting also urged Israel to look at the conduct of its own citizens and settlers in the West Bank.
