Had a run through the smoke to Mae Sai today.

Went into the back streets to look for some gemstone cutting shops... It's true! It's true!

Had to pass a couple of other traditional Mae Sai establishments... we did pass, we did pass... and the "ladies" were waiting to greet us in true Thai Songkran style.

Cheerful, indeed.
