Steve2UK
It's the new energy saving ac unit from the Shin Corporation. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> "Wing-and-a-Prayer-Air Inaugurates First Air Bus-stop Service" No booking required - when you see a plane overhead, just put up your hand and the pilot will land to pick you up. Said Wing-and-a-Prayer Air's newly appointed Marketing Director: "Yes, we expect a few teething problems with people just waving at aircraft and not intending to fly, but we see this as an exciting new progression in the no-frills flight market. Besides, we save on the cost of landing fees and ridiculous so-called 'safety regulations' at the few airports that still accept our planes". expatmushroom
Phuket Air still seems to get alot of comments: The arabic paper (The Riyadh?), can't read arabic, showed a picture of the aircraft with fire engines surrounding the number 3 engine. Thought this occured in Kuwait but this is the only article I could find. http://egyptelection.com/modules.php?name=...rticle&sid=1582 Although the article states Saudi Arabian Airlines, I understand that this aircraft is on lease from Phuket Air and is painted in the old colors. Any one throw some light on the incident? Maybe someone can search arbic pages.
