Long Term Luggage Storage At Suvarnabhumi

Featured Replies

A friend of mine, an aircraft technician, is flying back to LOS at the completion of his contract. He wants to take a 10 to 14 day vacation to Vietnam, prior to returning to his home in Issan. He has 2 suitcases with extra clothes, tools, etc, that he doesn't want to lug all the way to Vietnam. He would like to stash them somewhere at Suvarnabhumi if possible.

I know there is short term luggage storage there, but I don't know the maximum storage time allowed. Can he store his extra bags there or is there somewhere else at the airport that he could store the bags while on his holiday?

Will a Mod please move this to the Suvarnabhumi Airport Forum. I am sorry as I didn't see it prior to posting the topic.

In any decent hotel they will offer you storage room for free.

The airport's website states that anything left at the Left Luggage in the terminal for over 180 days will be confiscated and it states that the rate after 90 days increases from 100baht to 200baht per piece - so your friend should be just fine.
