Now we have the DSI (like the CIA) on tele saying someone tried to bomb Wat Pra kau fortunatly it didnt detonate

the DSI's the most competent law enforcement agency in Thailand and they do actually do a good job at things from everything I understand, but they're not entirely above politics. It sounds pretty suspect that this would happen, so I'm not exactly ready to jump on the believer bandwagon regardless of what side is thought to be blamed (reds/yellows/government false flag/whatever). I can't imagine any Thai person seeing a benefit in bombing Wat Phra Keaw except to smear someone else and I can't imagine anyone who would think that smearing someone else would be worth the cost of being the guy who bombed Wat Phra Keaw. Still, who knows - but it sounds pretty odd.

DSI is the best Thailand has to offer?? Grenades in the street, reams of arrest warrants fluttering in the wind, and what are the DSI spending their valuable time on?? Chasing morons on Facebook!!! Hardly an efficient use of resources.....

I don't think that's the DSI's remit. I could be wrong, but I remember there being a special cyber-division set up a year or two ago for all internet related 'crime'.

BTW, a timely reminder for the paranoid, since that time, all Thai internet providers (i.e., True & TOT and their concessionaries) are required by law to keep IP addresses of every uses for 90 days, and sites like Thaivisa are required by law to hand over IP addresses to the gov't if requested...so, be careful out their people...

Personally I don't agree with any of this, including the shutting down of UDD on FB if true. Let them have their little group to tell consoling lies to each other too, it keeps the feeble minded in a safe place and helps to prevent them being exploited by red leaders to lookfor a more dangerous outlet somewhere else, like on the streets.

Hold on UDD facebook was positively amusing the lies were so outrageous that not even moist reds believed them. You cant shut down such a comical operation. Anyone remember their explanation for April 10 it was so ludicrous that even the other leaders ignored it

Fro tweetland. Details on the rpg and Wat Prakaew. It seems it is the old case but the suspect Bundit Sitthichum has confessed he fired at Wat Prakaew but missed. No details on if he has named others yet

Info coming from Methee?

:):D

Indeed DSI are saying Wat Prakaew targetted with RPG

There is a belief about the existance of the "Emerald Buddha" and the Kingdom of Thailand. This actually DOES change things!

I can't tell you how happy I am that this attack apparently failed!

Could we have a link to a source for this statement? The DSI website doesn't have anything about it. Not asking for your firstborn child, just for a link.

Heads up sparky but I think you are on the ignore list (therefor they can't see your post) so you might as well be talking to a wall. :D

:D never mind dead i can still see you you are to amusing(not really)to be ignored where is rusty sunset and the guy from the gym still trying to cheer up marcocock ?

Really, so naive?

That man was just driving to the "battlefield" to provide the "Reds" with the requested materials.

Thats all; nothing more, nothing less.

Of course he will not admit that and he tries to escape on it with some stupid fabricated nonsense.

yeah he was supposed to deliver the arms to the pda then he could not read a map and accidently drove towards the red mob when he realized his mistake he tried turn around because he could not admit to fellow police man he cant read so he simply made his way back to narnia :) and his evil step dad ' whatanutt' made him a pie and then they drank lao khao ever after

He was interrogated and I am sure that wasn't too friendly an interrogation so pretty sure he squealed.

To early to say at the moment but if there were any connection to the REDS it would have been front page news.

Looks liek the dude wanted for Banharns house bombing's utterly remakable resemblance to the red guard last night is starting to go viral on the net. The reds are goign to wake up tomorrow with a few more problems for Weng at al to spin away. Well guess Banharn knew where it had come form anyway but if he didnt he does now

I did find it pretty strange that there was so little chatter about the attack on Banharn's house (and formerly attacks on newin's family's businesses) on here. Then I realized pretty few of the Reds on here really know who they are (and few enough of the other posters as well!)

I'm glad that someone posted the pictures on Pantip.com of what the reds are forcing the sick and the elderly to endure for the red's precious leader. Only terrorists would attack a hospital. Aside from any lame justification, (even if there were troops there, they are obviously there to protect the people in the hospital), impeding the work of doctors is a prohibited thing to do anywhere in the world. Even in failed states in Africa, doctors are allowed to work.

The red's just can't stand the idea of any power greater than them, so they have to chase troops wherever they see them. They might feel that this gives them face, but to the international community, they certainly have lost it. This, along with photo confirmation that members of the red/black guards are wanted criminals only confirms that this is a movement to empower the criminal forces in Thailand to work as a mob-state. If it continues like this, we'll start seeing warlords roaming the city (and the country) in armed hordes, raping and killing like they do in Africa.

I know that Abhisit is trying to bring a new level of government to Thailand, so that things like the October revolution don't happen again, but I think he's losing control. The reds are threatening the lives of the sick, the old, and children in the hospital, so it is time for the government to say that the women, elderly and children in the red areas have one day to evacuate, and then go in and clear out the rest by any means. Anyone left at that point should be considered as an enemy combatant. :)

Seems he may well be one of the tomato police who told the hospital last night to let the reds in whenever they fancied it

Edited 1:Well at least he is wearing some police gear. Hair seems a tad long though. Needs clarification

Edited 2: Well now it is being saidf he is a red guard wearing police gear which makes sense consdiering the hair but where did he get police stickers or gear?

Anyway whoever he is he needs hauling in for questioning

maybe just maybe the gov. is getting better in actually not giving all away before its proven right. and i have to say that attacking the hospital with the spiritual leader in it , trying to attack a wat with military weapons is not the best idea whatanutt and likes had. after all this is thailand. a nation proud of its religion - you fools should be in prison sorry i mean pigden

The only "good" thing about the reds is their mind boggling incompetence - I mean, shooting an RPG at a wat and missing it ??

The same is mirrored in their speeches and excuses - one thing is for sure, they would not have a chance against a monkey in an IQ competition

For what it's worth, I believe the Director (or the person who authorised) of Chulla Hospital should do the honourable thing and resign for bringing so much shame upon himself by putting all his patients and staff in mortal danger when he openned his doors to a known terrorist group. Disgusting, reprehensible lack of responsibility.

Barky; what part of "Chulalongkorn Hospital stormed by Red Shirts" don't you understand - they didn't just knock on the door and were let in...............These people are nothing but Hooligans, and I support the Military in any action they deem fit to expell them from where they are. I have many friends in Bangkok, crime is rising, harrasments on the upswing, pick pockets abound etc etc etc.................Hearts & Minds my buttocks, when you have them by the gonads, their hearts & minds will follow...........I am coming next month on the 22d, hope this is cleared up by then........ :)

Well everything you have said I have said before. So we agree to agree. With regard to how they got in, I wasn't there. Were you? The word "stormed" could be journalistic licence. And, it was Originally reported that they were grated limited entry after a brief discussion with the supervisor. And futher still, a number of nurses and staff have signed a partition to get the supervisor in question (ie: the one that granted entry to the terrorists) the sack.

And, finally, I understand things well enough, so before you go off half cocked consider the things YOU don't know.

Cheers.

Here's some pics of the conditions faced by patients evacuated out of Chula to a partially finished building. No guessing which way they'll be voting come December...

http://www.pantip.com/cafe/chalermthai/top...1/A9192681.html

Sad. There are lots of sad stories coming out about this now, but dont worry Jatuporn said it is justified to do all this as did Nattawut and belatedly after apologising Weng, so at least the red leadeship are now agreed that whatever happened at Chula and whatever the patients have to put up with it is justified.

Anybody who has had abdominal or spinal surgery before knows how painful any type of movement is. Even getting on to a wheelchair can take one's breath away due to the pain. Then you feel every little bump during the ride. I can recall being wheeled into an elevator and wincing just upon going over the entry part. Add to it the corner which is occasionally accidentally clipped and you see stars again, or when the catheter which is up your peter gets tripped on :) . Some of these patients surely suffered severe, needless pain. For what?

According to Chulalongkorn Hospital administration, only patients who requested to be moved were evacuated. Pretty much most of them. Tells you all you need to know.

Saw all the broken sobbing familes and sad babies on the Thai news. Guess the rednecks don't care, why bother when you can insight some violence with soldiers possibly inside?

Let's keep things in perspective pls. Why is any of this worse than what we've seen very recently, with people getting shot and grenades going off and people dying? I sense a lot of fabricated indignation; the Reds are jittery, they KNOW they can get their faces blown off at any time by government (or rogue army) snipers.. It's chaotic, someone thinks they see military in the building directly overlooking their site.. It happens to be a hospital, but better safe than sorry.

Good of Dr. Weng to apologize though, respect.

Do they need to send a hundred guards and interrupt the patient? It's sick!

THE NATION: the reds rebuilding Chula hospital blockade say they were ordered by Seh Daeng who was worried about dispersal.

MCOTEnglishnews: Chula Hospital director, Red Cross Society representative to meet with top Red Shirts after hospital entrance is blocked again by protesters

So much for Dr Weng's promise to stop blocking ambulances trying to get to the hospital.

According to ASTV (need to be careful) Payap has said Jatuporn ordered the raid and he has the all the media as his witnesses. Interesting
