legendarysurfer
This year's trip back to the village (Bann Noen Soong Pleui, just west of Nong Bua Lamphu) in still images: http://pg.photos.yahoo.com/ph/legendarysur...hA.HHDB.Exowx1s It's a Yahoo photo album. When you get there, I suggest clicking on "slideshow" in the album's upper right-hand frame. Hope you enjoy the pics.

legendarysurfer
Nice pics Mal.Can you tell me a bit more about the 3 pics prior to the headman pics in the yahoo album? Cheers <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Udon ~ Actually, the preceeding 7 images ("Ban Phu"), before the "Headmen" shots, were all taken at Ban Phu National Park. Despite the elevation, this area has been inhabited for thousands of years and became a monastic center early on in, possibly preceeding the time of Buddha. legendarysurfer
UDON ~ It finally occurred to me that the location information I gave you on some of the pictures is not quite right. What I was calling "Ban Phu National Park" is more rightly called "Phu Prabat." It is a national park NW of Ban Phu and the noted (wat) Phra Bua Bok.
