intacome
Hi what i am trying to do is retain my multi entry Marriage visa and work part time. In the past i have been continously employed and have just got visa extensions each year. THis year my contract was not renewed so i got a marriage visa in KL. I have now been offered a job teaching part time(no teachers licence required acording to the education department) at a government school. I think i can go to the employment office with my paperwork and get a workpermit but i'm not sure, i really would like to retain my 15 months on the O visa and not change to another hisa class. If anyone can advise me it would be most appreciated. lopburi3
It will be up to the labor office if they will permit issue of the work permit on the non immigrant O visa. Some seem to do and others do not. Believe all/most will do on an extension of stay for marriage but that is not what you have.
