Fee/bribe When Applying For Tourist V. After Extention?

Featured Replies

Please can someone shed some light on this subject; Im informed by my visa agent (which I have used many times before with no issues) that as I extended my tourist visa in Thailand for the additional month, every time I now apply for a tourist visa I must pay an additional fee, (last time 1500b, this time 2500b!!) or I will not be granted a new tourist visa.

Any advise much appreceated, also is it now possible to apply for a FREE 3 month tourist visa in Maylasia? Friend has spoken to tourists who already have, yet Im told no free visas till Tuesday??

thank you.

Go somewhere other than Penang (which is the only place I know of that's refusing TVs for those that have previously extended).

How about trying Laos or Cambodia for a change :)

Free Tourist Visas start officially on the 11th http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/Free-Tourist...th-t360810.html

And let's not talk about illegal practices please.

KL? wont chargre me this "fee" and I can apply for a free double entry?

You can apply for a double entry visa, but would have to pay for it in case of a double entry.

The only place that will (probably) give you a free double entry visa is Vientianne, Laos. Free tourist visas start on the 11th.
