Freesat Tvs And/or Access To Similar Service

Featured Replies

In the UK there's the Freesat (ex-Freeview?) service which enables you to view the main terrestrial channels and many others in HQ either via built-in TV tuner or external box.

Basically interested if there's any way to get the signal here or if there's a similar service in Thailand?

(eg. TrueVisions have something called "FreeView" but it doesn't appear to be free...).

What about TVs that come with built-in tuners? What are they good for in Thailand?

Are there any specific models or external boxes that will allow you to access either locally broadcast channels or any other signals from abroad?

A forum search did not bring up any results about Freesat.

Apologies. Did a search on freeview instead, which brought some interesting threads.
