The Embassy is temporarily closed to the public, due to its proximity to demonstrations:

Due to the security situation in the vicinity of the Embassy, the consular- and visasection will be closed for services from Monday, May 17 up to and including Wednesday May 19.

Visa applicants with visa appointments scheduled for Monday, May 17 - Wednesday May 19, are instructed to book new appointments via: bt_inline_link_extern.gifhttp://bangkok.embassytools.com/

As a result, customers may experience delays in the processing of their visa application.

If you booked an appointment at the consular section on 17, 18 or 19 May, you will have to reschedule your appointment via: bt_inline_link_extern.gifhttp://bangkok-psprt.embassytools.com/

You are advised - until further notice - not to come near the Embassy and Wireless Road.

The embassy can still be reached by email for questions. The embassy has opened up an emergecy office, outside the protest area. This is for emergency situations only and one has to make an appointment by phone first.
