Yes for real. traffic police is driving around and advising of the curfew.All bars, shops, family marts, 7/11-shut or closing down as i type

Earlier today, at approx 17.30 pm, Central Pattaya was evacuated due to gun fire(gun battle) outside.(reported by my dog walker who was there watching movie)

Anyone has any information about that incident?

do we need two curfew threads?

I do not know, my dog walker is not the brightest, been trying to get the info from her, but all she could say "Security tell people go home because have fighting outside, i see have gun shoot many time, but i not see"

Police have ordered all businesses to close immediately and for all citizens and tourists to get indoors ,

south pattaya rd is jam packed with cars as is pattaya klang according to police .

thousands of red shirt supporters are on sukhumvit rd blocking anyone from entering or leaving pattaya .

heavy police presence in pattaya but no sign of military as of yet .
