Cheapest Way To Travel On The Skytrain?

Featured Replies

I need to commute on the skytrain everyday. I couldn't get any clear information from the ticket counter so i'm asking here. I hope someone can help.

What is the cheapest way to travel on the skytrain? I've heard of the 'SkyPass' card but after paying 100 bht for it i believe you pay the same price for each journey. It just saves you queuing for tickets. Correct?

Can anyone help me out?

Thanks

Bill

The cheapest way to ride the skytrain is to hop the barrier I imagine?

if you are young, you can just ask for a student card and you get 99/100 times.

Isn't that naughty?

I think ur suppose to be under age 25 for that one.

Yeah, probably. Silly of me to have mentioned that giving my company. :)

Its always best to check out the options, plus how old you look.

Maybe one of those face mask that will make you look younger, LMAO

Judging by your attitude and sense of humour I will assume that you are about 11 or 12 years old. So you know very well that you are surrounded by grown ups and some are well over 25.

<snip>

Cards can only be used by a student aged not over 23 years, studying at an academic institution in Thailand, recognized by the Ministry of Education (details as per Conditions of use for BTS STUDENT Passes).

A valid Student ID and Citizen ID must be presented upon request by a company officer :)

Wonder if my Freedom Pass will work on on the S.Train.....next time.. :D
