Taxi madman Derrick Bird was tipped over the edge when his Thai lover of three years dumped him, The People can reveal.

Bird, 52, who was already seething with resentment over a series of grudges, had hoped to start a new life with 32-year-old beauty Hon.

He was due to fly to Thailand later this month and had been secretly sending his raven-haired lover cash after she promised him she would come to England to set up a new life together.

But just weeks after he is believed to have deposited £1,000 in a Thai bank account for Hon she told him: Its over.
