I have an eye appontment at hospital on July 14the, if I am given the ok I would like to get to Thailand ASAP. When I look at the Visa Application page 3 I am asked to enter a date of departure from the UK and arrival in Thailand. At this point I could just book a flight about a month in advance and fill in the data,but, I notice that there are some good flights last minute, but not enough time to get the Visa off and back in my hand. Does anyone know how precise theses dates have to be? I have e mailed Hessle several times but no success,before I call them does anyone know the answer?

The dates on the visa form will not be printed on the visa itself. So I guess it doesnt have to be specific enough to worry about.

Dates would only be used to advise you to wait if too far in the future (visa validity starts on date of issue). You are not required to entry/leave on those dates.
