I like Thailand, I want to stay at least 5 years.

I am 33 yo male from Europe.

I get 6 month visa each time i come to Thailand, but the last time the worker in embassy in our country told me that I stay too much in Thailand and there is a chance i will be declined to enter in Thailand.

She told me that I have to wait 6 months before I come again.

So I can stay 6 months, wait 6 months and stay 6 months again. So confusing and frustrating.

I almost bought a condo, but now I am happy i did not.

Is there a way to stay 5 years? Easy way, I am not a teacher, I am not sure if I can get a working permit easy............

Also I am not getting married yet for few years at least.

Get married to a Thai, 1 year married extension of stay

Reproduce with a Thai, 1 year parent extension of stay

Buy that condo and try for Investment visa.

Must invest 10 million baht though.

I doubt the OP wants to spend 10 million!

Anyway, as stated the ED visa to study Thai is the most reasonable option for you. Assuming you can self finance this extended holiday.

There is no rule that says you must wait 6 months before you can stay another 6 months. But an ED-visa is a good way if you really want to stay for a long time. Doesn't have to be Thai language, can also be a real university course.

The visa will normally be for 90 days (single entry) but if school and you meet qualifications extensions of stay can be obtained. In the case of small language schools this is normally only for 90 days at a time and must be done every 90 days with proof of continued education and payment of 1,900 baht.

Are you sure, that sound too good to be true, I would like to stay for 5 years or more, so how does the school look like, do you have to go to school every day, do you have to have good grades? What are the limits? How many years can you stay?

I would like to learn maybe english more, is that possible, is there a good english school there and what are the approx costs?

Yeah, I only mentioned study of Thai as that is clearly the overwhelming most popular choice for people looking for a visa angle.

English would indeed be no problem, even at a university level or a a course to become a teacher English.

Always shop around till you find a school that suits you and inquire if they can help you with the visa.

Many schools will be much cheaper. A typical course Thai for example costs around 29,000 baht per year. Suspect a course English will not be much more expensive, unless you want to study at university level.
