As the title says! if I get a work visa for doing one job for a thai company, can I then also do work for my trade as in hypnotherapy legally?

Or could i do the same job i do for my employer for myself outside of company hours?

A work permit only allows you to work for the in the work permit mentioned employer, in the in the work permit stated function.

No. Every different job you have requires a different work permit.
