Depo Provera In Chiang Mai?

Featured Replies

First at all: Sorry because of my bad english, it's not my native language, but let's try (;

so it's about "Depo Provera" and the main question: Where I can get it?

In the country where I am from we go the the doctor and get the injection.

and now I try to figuer out how it could work here??

Mmmh, I found a very old thread or posting here at thai visa forum. but how

i said, very old (2006!!!) and i would say not actual at all.

Can I just go to the pharmacy and buy the Depo Provera?

and what can i expect (not that there are enough things in thailand to wonder

about when you see them the first time)...

Do I get the active substance and the syringe??? So "Do it yourself" ??? Not really, or??

I am really confused about the thread i read here.

So I really hope someone can help me withsufficient answeres!!!

thank u very much in advance

Im not sure where you can get Depa Provera simsalabim, but i just wish to say please read up on the serious known side-effects if you havent already. There is a lot of information on google. I tried Depa Provera about 10-15 years ago and my hormones were an absolute mess. Im one of MANY women that have had terrible side-effects. Just hope you are aware of them before considering this method.

Best of luck.

no i tried the injection for 1 year and stopped because i moved here.

so i am happy with that and had no problems, i would like to continue.

but how

Any OB/GYN will have it, its very common. I wouldn't really recommend buying it from a pharmacy and injecting yourself. Try going to one of the reputable hospitals or clinics in Chiang Mai (discussed ad nauseum in the Chiang Mai forum) and getting an appointment for the injection. It is widely available.
