Russia Rejects Trump's Temporary Ukraine Ceasefire Offer
In another news article about this...Putin is saying the reason he will not make a ceasefire is because it gives the Ukraine a chance to recoup the military but has no benefit to Russia or their military. I would say that Putin has been listening to Zelenski's rhetoric about the war being far from over and does not believe him about adhering to a ceasefire anyway. Zelenski has previously shown no interest in stopping the war. In fact he has only talked about its continuation. In this case, I also would not agree to a ceasefire while negotiations were being made. Zelenskis only cares about getting more money and military equipment from the USA.- 1
