I've been here for 4 years and have had many different visas. For last 2 years been living with GF for 7 months each year and then go back to USA for 6 months each year. Before that was living with her for 2 years continusly Now I'm on Tourist visa and want to get TV for GF but every lawyer I've talked to says no way. We have house and she has land in her name. I've spent thousands of dollars fixing up house and appliances. Are there steps I could do to show that I will return to Thailand. Like changing my visa to retirement or trying for year visa or buy car with finance or even buy a condo which would be the extreme. I have company now but have not had bussiness for 2 years. I know old subject and I've read many stories on this subject but could use some new info.Plus I don't want to marry her in America I just want to bring her over as friend.

No disrespect to any lawyers / visa agents but for a B2 tourist visa to USA, i'd recomend you guys doing it yourself, the paperworks pretty easy all done online with DS-160 form from the bkk us embassy website. http://bangkok.usembassy.gov/niv_howtoapply.html and https://ceac.state.gov/genniv/ If she's got land, money to fund the trip and compelling reason to return it's more than worth doing the paperwork and applying yourselves. It won't hurt for her to mention she's going with her BF who has ties to thailand also. My GF wast just approved last week for her B2 visa and the interviewer was most interested in the shophouse she and I just purchased and what our life togethers going to be like after we return from our holiday in the states. And about the pics she's got on her phone of us together  Give it a shot yourself good luck to ya
