Extension Thai Non Immigrant Visa

Featured Replies

hello

I am making an internship in bangkok and i've got a non immigrant visa for 90 days which will expire 26 of july and i stay till 8 of september in thailand. So i will go to cambodia to have a new visa and by the same way visit the angkor temple. My problem is that i will need a visa till 8 of september thus one month will not be enough. my question is thus how can i get a thai visa for more than 1 month in cambodia and without go to phnom phen ( if its possible) cause i will stay in cambodia only 3 or 4 days around angkor temple area.

Furthermore i am with my girlfriend but for her a tourist visa for one month will be ok cause she will leave 23 of august.

Please let me know about all the possibilities to handle my problem and on the easiest way

Thanks a lot i put all my hopes on this forum cause i heard so many diferent things.

A tourist visa will give you 60 days (depending on nationality) , which can be extended by another 30 days.

I guess you mean with tourist visa a visa exempt entry, which you get at the airport if you don't have a visa. If your girl friend enters Thailand at a land border she will only get 15 days, not 30. Only at an airport will she get 30 days. Better she gets a tourist visa too.
