Publications Consultant Needed

The firm is urgently seeking a Publications Consultant:

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

B.A. (or preferably graduate degree) in a field focused on writing

Native speaker of English

Outstanding communications skills, particularly in regard to writing

Analytical and critical thinking skills

Experience in publishing, editing, marketing, or public relations

Legal background would be advantageous

Position Summary:

The Publications Consultant will be involved in writing and editing a full range of marketing and public relations materials, including articles, brochures, internal and external newsletters, press releases, and website content.

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Develop and edit a full range of marketing materials, including articles, brochures, newsletters, and website content, under the supervision of the Manager, Marketing & Communications.

2. Work with the Public Relations and Events Coordinator in writing and distributing press releases.

3. Write and edit materials for the firm's internal communications, including the staff newsletter and the firm's intranet.

4. Handle any assignments from Manager, Marketing & Communications.
