Ok, I'm interested in 2 rates:

- hypothecary rate (is there such an official rate ion Thailand?, how much is it?)

- interest paid on saving accounts, such as Kasikorn? Do the banks offer some kind of money market interests for fixed term deposits?

Also do a thaivisa forum search on "term deposits foreigners" for a thread that included discussion of different interest rates offered to thais vs foreigners considered to be resident vs non-resident foreigners

that just leaves open the question about the hypothecary rate (you could also say Mortgage Lending Rate). Is it around 5% ?
