Hello chaps

Have used a variety of places over the years and while I love the hubub and life in Chinatown and little India I find hotels poor value and pretty noisy compared to N Thailand where decent rooms 6-900 range and at over 1000 you are into Aircon tv 4 star realm with net booking.

In Penang I have often negotiated at top places but Kl seems to have fixed rates?

I did find one Indian guest House uphill from Pudra Bus station behind the Indian Temple and Italain terrace bistro that looked clean firendly etc and of course full, forgotton the name if anyone can send their details?

Any tips around the 1000 baht mark for a place that will do a reservation online or phone.

Im not on visa run have 5 nights and will even consider out of town if especialy good Port Dixon Klang etc

Big impersonal Chinese hotels or Karaoke/bar girls is what I wish to avoid please, all the more for the others!

A nice Indian GH like in Highlands be perfect and if cannot locate in Kl may go up there or Melaka for 4 nights.

Is there any direct transport from Cameron highlands or Melaka to LCCI Air Asia terminal please?

Positively love the smell of curry etc,

I know Asiarooms .hostelworld.com etc but nothing like members personal tips
