MisterMan
I want to buy something heavy in Bangkok It is in bags weighing 25 kilos each. The bags are from 2 different companies. I want it shipped to Phuket. How do the transport companies/ systems work? I have talked to 2 companies with my desired products and they say ok but find a transport company. 1 company gave me a referral but they wanted 3k to ship 1 bag. Seemed expensive when you can ship a motoribke upcountry for around 1k, EMS. Any idea or recommendations appreciated. i posted in the biz section but no replies. Lannatyne
You've already touched on something that sprang to my mind - the Postal Service. What they shift here is amazing compared to some countries, so give them a shout, I'd say.

Agree, Thaipost will move large quantities of almost anything, even full household of furniture, at reasonable prices and prompt service. One thing to beware of, don't approach your local suburban PO, they mostly don't know that this service is available, contact a bigger PO. Good luck
starkey_rich
Give Kowjareen Express Transport a call on 022815224. My Indian spice lady in Bkk uses them to ship my spices down. Last shipment nearly 20kg cost me 200 bht
