thanks so much..this forum is a great place for info. I have used Amorn in Pattaya (Tucom) many times and they always come up trumps. Recently my aircon remote was duff and after many emails to the mfr "service" dept and a wasted journey to a non existant office, then a quote of over Baht2000 for a new one, Amorn fixed it in a day, and it wa not dead batteries
