wamberal Posted July 18, 2010 Share Posted July 18, 2010 There are undoubtedly some local people of Cantonese descent in Thailand, however, you should start by looking for Tae Chew (Chiu Chow) associations, because there seems to be more people who have that ancestry. Most of the Cantonese in Bangkok are moderately wealthy tourists, based on my eavesdropping on the skytrain. Perhaps you would be better broadening your criteria to any descendants of famous filmstars regardless of dialect. I'd like to learn trawling. Where can I find descendents of Iceland in Bangkok?
