90 Day Reporting, Going To Be A Day Late.

Featured Replies

I'm on a married visa and have been here 10 years. Never missed a report to immigration. But,my 90 day reporting of address is on the 27th, a bank holiday and the 26th is a bank holiday too. Yes, i forgot to check.

Just looked a few posting on this forum and noticed a lot of members saying you get a 7 day leeway. If this is so, can i still post it on the 28th to arrive on the 29th (2 days late) and still be o.k. or do i have to drive the 2 1/2 hours to my immigration office and pay a fine ?

Any advise would be appreciated. :D

You have to make a physical report to take advantage of the 7 day window. There will not be any fine if you report two days late - but mail must arrive before due date to be processed.

The ±7 days applies only to reporting in person.

By mail it has to arrive before or on the due date (according to Imm BKK)

You can give it a try but there is a chance they may not even process your filing if it gets to their office after the due date.

Thanks for the reply. Was your reply late and did you do it by post or in person ?
