Royal Thai Embassy Rome, Italy: 1 Year Non Immigrant B Visa

Featured Replies

I plan to go to Rome in September and would like to apply for a 1 year non immigrant B visa.

I wonder if somebody has any experience with the Royal Thai Embassy Rome, Italy.

BTW: I am holding a German citizenship

Thanks!

I can't remember any member posting about applying for a multiple-entry non-B visa the the Thai embassy in Rome.

The website of the embassy in Rome lists the following requirements, but mentions only the single-entry non-B visa:

NON IMMIGRANT VISA “B” (BUSINESS)

Documents to be attached to the request to obtain Non Immigrant Visa for a stay of 90 days in Thailand.

For Italian citizens:

1.1 An application form for Visa

1.2 Two recent color photos

1.3 Passport with validity of at least 6 months + one photocopy of pages 1-3 of the renewal

1.4 Flight reservation or roundtrip airline ticket + one photocopy

1.5 Letter of request from the Italian company to the Embassy

1.6 Letter of request from the Thai company to the Embassy

1.7 In case the requesters are owners or partners in the Thai

company, the documents to be attached are the following :

- Registration of the company at the Thai Chamber of Commerce +

one photocopy authenticated by the competent Office

- Work permit + one photocopy

In case of foreign citizens residing in Italy, the following documents are to be added:

- Original stay permit + one photocopy

- Reservation of hotel in Thailand

- Certificate of residence

- Other necessary documents on request

Visa fee is 50Euro/one entry.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

They only posts on Italy that I recall were not positive but have been very few and far between.
