Me and my thai wife are living in the uk. We want to come and live in thailand and my wife wants to open a pharmacy shop as she is a pharmasist. Being married to a Thai is ground for a (multiple) non-O visa good for 90 days per entry. This can be extended to 1 year if you have an income of 40,000 a month (can be from abroad) or have 400,000 in a bankaccount in Thailand in your name. In botth cases it must be your money, not your wife's.

A 12 month extension of stay from Thai Immigration based on having a Thai Wife would give you 12 months without having to leave the country.
