How difficult is it to cross the river at NKP to get a new 60 day stamp for double-entry tourist visa? (Cross and come back same day) Possible? How much does it cost? Other problems? Any info will be much appreciated. Thanks.

The river crossing at NKP is mainly for border trade with Laos. There is only a barge for trucks. The immigration office is great for 90 day stamps and extensions. Later this year Friendship Bridge 3 will be open supposedly with full border options
