August 11, 201015 yr My new wife is from thailand and she lives with me in the uk, when we go back to thailand she wants to buy land in surin close to where her parents live, we are married so is she able to do this ????? some people say she can but others say she can't because she is married to a farang now !! does anyone know the answer please.
August 11, 201015 yr She can. The law that forbid Thai women married to foreigners from buying land was overturned many years ago.
August 12, 201015 yr Make sure the land has good soft soil so it is easy for her to bury you in the grave she may be planning for you there. LOL sorry couldn't resist
August 12, 201015 yr she can, but if your marriage is registered in LOS, you as her farang husband must sign in Land office this land is purchased for here money and you have no rights to it at any point, before she is allowed the transfer of land deed to her name
