@19.00hrs Surin Beautiful Lady Contest at Surin Meeting Hall

19th November

08.00 > 12.00hrs Opening of The Worlds Largest Elephant Buffet. Parade from Train Station to Changwang Monument.

10.00hrs Elephant Power Guy competition at ChangWang Monument

18.00hrs Srikoraphum Sound and Light Show at Srikoraphum District.

20th November

08.30 > 11.00hrs The Elephant Round-up Show at Srinarong Stadium

18.00hrs Srikoraphum Sound and Light Show at Srikoraphum District.

21st November

05.30 Mini Half-Marathon at Rajamankla Uni

08.30 > 11.00hrs The Elephant Round-up Show at Srinarong Stadium

Only that much.I have heard it is a good show there but never been.

Thanks for the ticket info. We are going to take the train up from Bkk and make a weekend of it. What are the better places to stay and we will still be able to get a room? We haven't been to Surin before.

Hi

If you want a nice clean & new room, I would recommend the Majestic Twin. Its central and only been built a year or so. If you want more facilities like Pool and B&B, I would suggest The Majestic Hotel or secondly The Thong Tarin.

All the hotel charge 3x the normal price and fill up very quickly around this time.

My Govt working contact informs me that the VIP tickets (thats the ones in the new terrace out of the sun and were you get a little snack box) for the 1000b price, are nearly all sold out now.
