Visa Non O Parents Of Kids At Inter. School Some Changes?

Featured Replies

I have already 3 non O consecutives visa for taking care of my kids who are in an international school in Phuket ( my kids have ED visa)

My wife has the same non immigrant visa . We have 2 kids( farang wife and farang kids).

Last year i had to show a bank account ( certified by the bank + copies of the last 3 months book) with more than 500000 baths for more than 90 days.

When i check if rules changed i see 800K baths for a non O .

Did the rules changed recently ?

what do i need to show exactly??

Thans you in advance

Are you talking about visas or one year extensions of stay from Immigration? The requirement is a non immigrant visa entry and child on one year extension of stay and show of 500k in Thai located bank account 3 months but is designed for one parent only (not for allowing family stay). If you are trying to use for both parents by using two children expect they are saying no and advising you of the 800k requirement for retirement extension of stay if you are over age 50.

I am speaking of one year extension

i did that for the last 2 years my wife with one kid ans me with the other ( they changed the law 2 years ago to allow this possibility)

SO apparently it is still 500k ( i hope because i blocked 2 times 500k since june for that )

Thanks
