Which Immigration Office To Go To?

Featured Replies

I have a single entry tourist visa for Thailand. if I want to get a re-entry permit in Bangkok, which office do I go to do this?

All this time I thought it was supposed to be somewhere called Soi Suan Plu, but I just came across a page on wikitravel.org and it mentioned they have moved to Chaeng Wattana Soi 7 Building B near Don Muang Airport ??

I got this from http://wikitravel.org/en/Bangkok Not sure which to believe because I got the Suan Plu address off the official Thai government website! Or does that not really mean anything..

Chaeng Wattana is correct you can Taxi from Mochit BTS, on the Chatuchack park side .

You can call them Immigration at 021 419 889 I think that number is correct. or visit Governement of Thailand website for map and info.

I don't think you can get a reentry permit on a tourist visa. Remember that if you leave Thailand, then come back in by air, you'll get a 30 day visa waiver stamp, or 15 days if you return overland.

You can get a re-entry permit on a tourist visa.

You can get a re-entry permit on a tourist visa.

I stand corrected.

You can get a re-entry permit on any kind of visa.
