How do you edit your posts??

Bottom right hand corner of your post, little yellow pencil on an edit facia.

For information members only have a 30 minute window to edit their posts after initial posting. Thereafter you would need to contact a moderator/admin requesting amendment.

Why, if we can do it then why cant we do it later, maybe after some more though? just curious/

Sadly, I need at least 35 minutes before I regret what I've posted.

Quite a few reasons actually. Denial of culpability, prevents orphaned posts, posts that lose meaning, and vicious editing. Also, it prevents someone from going back in time and deleting all his posts which would cause significant problems with threading. Another example, if a member posts something nasty and gets members worked up over it, they could go back and edit it making the other members seem to be the bad guys and attacking you for no good reason.

I believe you get the drift though. :)
