Democrat to run Suthep in by-election

The Surat Thani branch of the Democrat Party Sunday voted to file Deputy Prime Minister Suthep Thaugsuban in a by-election in the province.

The by-election will be held on October 30 to fill a vacant seat after Democrat MP Chumpol Kanchana, who has been found guilty of concealing his debt.
